Review Frenzy

Good morning everyone,

Yesterday I got back from Target and immediately swatched my new Maybelline Expert Wear Eyeshadow quad in Sapphire Smoke. It was regular $4.99, but was on clearance for only about $2.50. I saw many things on clearance, but this was something that I thought would be fun to do a colorful tutorial for you all.

What do you think? Should I do a colorful tutorial or an everyday tutorial?

Bad Hair Day

Having a bad hair day???? Just part your hair down the back and braid your hair on both sides.

I have found that any braid helps with a bad hair day, or even if your hair appears/ is greasy. Make sure not to brush the roots of your hair. Use your fingers, or even a comb. Bobby pins help a lot with this hairstyle.

Beauty Gift Bag

Hey Everyone,

So, I need to apologize for not timing any post for you all while I was gone. I was visiting my Wonderful Grandparents and was having so much fun, that I totally forgot about my blog. I will not be posting very much within the next few weeks from what I understand. If I do get the chance to post a lot of posts, then I have found time.

Now for the topic. Anyone that is having a fun spa Birthday Party or any sort of beauty party, will love this idea! All you need is a cute gift bag, some nail polish (preferably two per guest), some toe separators, some nail stickers, and a few nail files.

There are soooo many other items that you could add, but these are the basics. Put 2-4 nail polishes in each bag. If you would like to go for a more expensive lacquer, then only put 1 or 2. I recommend 3 or 4 of any Sally Hansen or NYC polishes. Take a sheet of nail stickers and also about two nail files and add them to the baggy as well. Add a pack of toe seperators. If you would like you could add some Art Deco polish pens, or some shadows/ blush/ glosses.

For the shades of polishes for the seasons check out the polish Summer guide. I will be doing a Polcih Color guide for each season, when the season comes around.

Hope you enjoy and let me know what else you would add to your Fun and Creative baggy!

Lights! Camera! Cheese!

Hey Fashionistas,

Today my sister is wearing the cutest outfit! I thought it was definitely worth showing you all.

The top is from Forever 21. It is $6.80. It is a gorgeous peachy brown color and can be made to flatter you by buckling up the thinnest part of your torso. She paired it with some light wash capris, some silver flats, and a sterling silver necklace.

Her hair is one of my favorite parts of her look. She french braided it after her shower and this morning took the blow dryer to it for a few minutes and took out the braids.

For her makeup she is wearing the MAC eyeshadow, in the sailor collection, in Barefoot. On her lips she is wearing a lipgloss in a strawberry color.

Let me know if you would wear this outfit by leaving a comment down below.

Bobby Pins

Hey,

If you are anything like me you lose bobby pins all of the time. A great way to store them and keep them easily accesible is to attach a magnetic strip to your drawer and apply them onto it. I saw this on Pinterest and thought it was super clever.

Another way to keep up with them in your purse or in your luggage is to take an old Tic Tac container and load them in. This is great, because the Tic Tac containers stay shut well and will not let your bobby pins go in your bags. I also saw this on Pinterest.

This website has tons of unique storage ideas, crafts, sayings, etc. You will definitely think more than once "Why didn't I think of that???" I love this website! You can follow my pins under Emilee Murphy. I would love to know your name on Pinterest so that I can follow all of you!

Polish History

Hey,

As you all know, I am a huge nail polish fan. I wanted to talk about the changes I have seen in nail polish over the past year. There are many ways that you can decorate your nails yourself, but I had never thought that a nail polish could do the decorating for you.

The idea of making nail polish with glitter and metallic was very clever and a huge hit. Now they have come out with shatter nail polish. You can find it in almost every brand now. Whether you want the OPI polish or a polish that is a little cheaper, such as Revlon.

After the shatter style became big, they came out with the magnetic polish. Although this polish is taking a little more time to become a must have for everyone and every brand, it is still a very cool idea.

The latest nail polish style that I just discovered today is the newest. It is by OPI and is called Spotted. The picture below is what it looks like. I think it is extremely cool, and have no idea of how they created it. It reminds me of finger prints in an investigation scene or movie. I cannot wait to get my hands on this product and will be happy to show you all pictures of my own experience and let you know how I like it.

woah! i want this NOW
