Sigma Beauty

Hey,

Today I am going to talk about Sigma Beauty. ( http://www.sigmabeauty.com/?Click=321456) This is a great website for any makeup gurus. They sale brushes, tools, and eyeshadow palettes. Their brushes are the best of the best. They are amazing quality, and though they are pricey, they will last you for the rest of your life!

Keep up with my blog posts to figure out promo codes. The first promo code that I have for you is SAVE2012, which will take 10% off your entire purchase through the end of August, so you must hurry! Also, If you make a purchase of over $30.00 During the month of August, through the link above, you will receive a FREE E05 eye liner brush. This is the perfect brush for liquid or gel liners. To make it even better, the brush is hot pink! I don't know about you, but I prefer my brushes being pink over black or white.

You can purchase the brushes individually starting at $9.00, or you can purchase them in a "bundle" for a discounted price, starting at $49.00. If you do so happen to purchase some brushes from Sigma and would like to do further research on them, there are numerous videos that you can watch.

If you would rather purchase a palette, then you might also want to watch a video on colors/pigmentation before you decide. their palettes start at $35.00 and go to $59.00. For those of you thinking YIKES, let me reassure you. Since there are eight eyeshadows in each palette, that that makes them $4.30 a shadow. Basically, the same price you would pay for eight single shadows at the drugstore. As you will see if you watch a few videos, these palettes are not your drugstore eyeshadows. Their palettes that are available for purchase year round contain eight shadows each. They are all three $35.00. With each palette you also get a double sided brush with a shader brush on one end and a crease brush on the other end.

If you want a neutral color palette then go for the Bare palette. You will receive creams, browns, greys, and blacks as in the picture above. You can play around with them to make the perfect everyday look! Some of the colors are matte whereas others have a little bit of shimmer to them. Makes your blue eyes pop! This palette should last you a very long time.
The picture above is the Dare palette. This is for the girl that wants to stand out. The reds, oranges, creams, and plums are bound to give you an eye catching look. This palette also gives you the choice of going more natural on some days as well. I love the color Vanish. (far right) It is such a pretty tan shade. Great for green eyed girls! Every single color will be easily used to its full potential in this palette.
This palette has to be my favorite. If you just want to have fun adding a little bit of color to your natural eye look, this is going to be your best friend! The turquoise, green, and purple colors will look great with the natural colors. This makes brown eyed girls stand out. The combination is great! This palette is irresistible.

Of course there are other limited addition palettes that come out every now and then. These palettes and brushes make FABULOUS Birthday and Christmas presents. If you purchase anything from Sigma you will definitely not be sorry! Let me know what you purchase in the comments below.

Where have I been???

Good morning,

Where have I been lately? Well........ school is back in session, and I spent the last few weeks of my Summer relaxing in Pennsylvania and NYC. It was a blast!

We visited Amish Country, Pennsylvania. It was so much fun getting to see all of the Amish homes, and we were even lucky enough to catch a tour where we got to visit a few places. The first stop was a dairy farm. They had tons of cows and we even got to feed a three day old calf. We then had the chance to shop in their little quilt boutique and my wonderful Daddy bought us some quillows! (they are pillows that fold out into quilts)

Our second stop was a gourd farm. It was amazing how many different things they made out of gourds. Our third and final stop was an Amish home. We all went to their back porch and talked for about an hour. When it was time to leave we said our goodbyes and bought some homemade strawberry jelly! (AMAZING)

We went to Hershey and Wilbur for some fun chocolate cravings on our way to Philedelphia. After spending two nights in Philedelphia, we headed to the Amtrak station to catch a train to NYC. I was fidgity the whole way. The feeling I experienced when I saw the Empire State Building was how you feel when you get your first bike.

When we walked out of the station, I immediately saw Macy's. I wanted to run to the hotel, throw down my bags, and run through the city. Here is the view from the top of the Rockefeller.

We of course had to do some shopping so we hit H&M and Forever21. I got two pairs of jeans for $9.00 each at H&M and a pair for $10.50 at Forever21. I cannot wait to go back.

If you happen to visit soon, you have to visit Ellen's Stardust Diner on Broadway. It is a diner where people that want to make it on Broadway go get a job there, and they wait tables and sing songs. They have recently lost about 15 waiters/waitresses to Broadway. The newest one of which is the male lead in Mamma Mia.

I hope that you all get the chance to visit NYC and Pennsylvania soon. If you have been tell us your favorite place in the comments below.

(Sorry about the sideways pictures. Over half of  the ones we took are sideways.)

Best Chap Sticks of the Summer

Hey,

I have my three favorite chap sticks of the Summer.

1. Nivea chap stick in A Kiss of Shimmer- This product can be found at Target in a pack with another Nivea chap stick for only $2.99. It has SPF 10 in it, and gives your lips the moisture they need while leaving them with a light pink look with a touch of shimmer.

2. Soft Lips- I love this chap stick! It is crazy moisturizing and does not burn your lips when they are extremely dry. Instead, they give them a cool, breezy feeling.

3. Carmex- This chap stick is a must have for anyone on the planet that has ever had dry lips. It has a funny smell to it but after about a minute of wearing it, the smell fades, but not the the adored feeling of moisture relief. This is an amazing chap stick.

I hope this helps you out!
